In our ongoing search for furniture for the new townhouse in Pueblo Campestre, we decided to take a look at the Rattan de Guadalajara store located in the small strip mall just north of Cabo San Lucas on the frontage road before the arroyo near Artesanos. Rattan is a hardy style of furniture that is used regularly in furniture packages in Hawaii and so we were interested to see what they had to offer.
The store has a large display of both indoor and outdoor furniture. For outdoors, there was a large selection of pool lounges, side tables, outdoor dining sets and chairs and coffee tables. The store is also a Weber grill outlet for your BBQ on the deck. For the interior, there was also a lot of choice of sofa sets – couches, love seats, side chairs, coffee and side tables – and dining room tables and chairs. The Rattan was woven and used in the bases of couches and the back and sides of chairs.
While the selection was interesting, it was not as much in line with the design direction that we are trying to create for the townhouse.
