There are lots of choices for grocery shopping in Los Cabos – from City Market, Chedraui, Soriana, and Costco to OXXO and small local convenience stores. Sometimes, when you are out and about and have a craving for some of your favorite American or Canadian comfort food and you don’t want to travel to California Ranch Market in Palmilla, it is hard to find those items for a great lunch or snack at home. Beside Asi y Asado on the frontage road going toward San Jose del Cabo across from Costco is a small store – Mini Market Cabo Cielo, which according to the sign on the window has been around since 1980.

The three central aisles hold a lot of those things that you might be searching for. On the wall and the aisle just inside the door to the right are all of your favorite snacks – chips of all brands including Ruffles, Doritos, Cheetos, Boulder, Kettle Chips, Planters Peanuts, Cheez It crackers, Pringles. In the next aisle, Oreo cookies, biscuits and nut thins, your favorite cereals, maple syrup, Campbell’s soup, Kraft Mac & Cheese, pork and beans and end caps with cranberry sauce, Campbell’s gravy, Kool Aid Jammers and Fever Tree sodas and another with granola. There are even cases of different kind of Mountain Dew. The third aisle features salad dressings, vinegars, canned fish and meat, apple sauce, more soda, juice and drinks. On the other side of the aisle, there are all kinds of sauces and mustard, relish, mayonnaise and spices. The back side of the final aisle features all kinds of cleaning products.

All along the back of the store are coolers with every type of drinks, sodas, beer, milk, Almond milk and more. As well as another cooler with dairy products and some vegetables. Along the front wall is a selection wine and spirits, gator aid and specialty waters. All your favorite candies are on shelves by the check-out counter.
