On our recent visit to Anima Village, the new luxury mall in Cabo del Sol, after walking around we decided to stop for lunch. The only restaurant currently open is Cream Cafe and Pizza Bar. We are fans of their location in The Shoppes and Palmilla and decided to stop. The restaurant has seating outside, inside and on a rooftop deck. Our server, Hugo asked us where we would like to sit – we chose outside – and gave us menus. The menu is very similar to the menu in The Shoppes at Palmilla – although Beth was disappointed that they didn’t have the creamy tomato soup – with Bits & Bites, Pizza, Pasta, Burgers, Salads, Soup and Wraps.
We decided to start with the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was creamy with a few jalapenos on top as well as some pumpkin seeds. It was served with Pico de Gallo and tortilla chips. A great starter. For main courses, Beth selected the Cobb Salad, which was huge. She asked for it without cheese (being lactose intolerant) and ended up with more than half to take home for another meal. I decided on the Chicken Bufalo Burger, which was served on a Brioche bun, with a breaded fried chicken breast (200 gr), cheese, sliced cucumber, pickles and more. There were French fries on the side with some cheese and onion on top. Another large portion and very good.
We enjoyed our lunch, the food was good, Hugo was an excellent server and Cream Cafe met the standard set at its location in the Shoppes at Palmilla.
