TOWNHOUSE MAINTENANCE

John Anderson, Editor

The sun, salt and wind create ongoing needs for maintenance in Los Cabos. There are issues that you can work on daily or address once or twice a year. We have been lucky because Eduardo Almazan and his company do a lot of work in Pueblo Campestre as well as far away as El Tezal and Los Barilles. Over the past few months, we have had a number of maintenance issue addressed by his team.

  1. Our front and back gates and the wooden boxes that hold the water, propane and electric meters had faded.
  2. The Cantera tile and the grout between the tiles on our third floor needed to be resealed.
  3. The tiles on the front of our stairs and on the fountain in our courtyard needed to be cleaned and sealed.
  4. We needed to add an exhaust fan in our second bedroom on the first floor as paint was started to peel from the heat and humidity in the shower.
  5. All the air-conditioners needed the lint and dust to be cleaned from them.
  6. The large-live-edge outdoor table in our patio had also faded from the sun and needed to be refinished.
  7. Beth wanted a trellis added in the courtyard to plant a bougainvillea that would climb the wall to the pergola above.
  8. We needed a number of hooks added near the back gate in the patio to hand wet towels, swim suits, and other items when returning from the pool.

Sergio, Eduardo’s brother does and amazing job handling many of these issues as Eduardo supervises the specialized teams addressing others. Thank you, Eduardo for your help.
