We have been visiting Arrabalito Argentinian restaurant for many years. During COVID Carola, one of the owners would deliver orders to the East Cape on Fridays. They are restarted this service now on Tuesdays with three stops along the East Cape road to pick up your order.

Recently, Arrabalito has decided to offer breakfast from 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. The menu offers a variety of egg dishes – Eggs Benedict, Eggs as you like them, Omelets, Huevos Ranchero as well as Hotcakes, Chilaquiles, Fresh Fruit and Avocado Toast. Of course, there are a full range of beverages too – juice, coffee, smoothies and cocktails.

We went in for breakfast at lunch and my server provided us with the menu and asked what we would like to drink. I asked for Diet Coke and water with ice – as it was lunch time. We then reviewed the menu and asked for Huevos a la Mexicana – scrambled eggs with Pico de Gallo mixed in. The eggs were served with slices of bacon, small potatoes and vegetables. Excellent flavor and a good portion size. The other breakfast item ordered was Eggs Benedict. Two poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce that were also served with bacon, potatoes and grilled vegetables. Again, another hit.

Sebastian, the owner and chef was sitting enjoying a cup of coffee with a guest and came over to see how we enjoyed the breakfast. I told him that we were very happy and would be back again soon. The food was good, service excellent and prices very reasonable.
