BAJA'S BEST CULINARY, MUSIC, AND ARTS FEST RETURNS TO SANTA TERRA

John Anderson, Editor

For the second year, over 48 chefs from top restaurants in Los Cabos, Cerritos, Pescadero, Todos Santos, and La Paz will offer their signature dishes at a unique event. Joining the chefs will be a full range of wineries from Valle de Guadalupe and mainland Mexico, artists with their work on display, and musical entertainers.

The whole event is set up in the wide-open area of Santa Terra below Oystera and Vino Park in downtown Todos Santos. I attended the event last year after having gone to Sabor a Cabo and Gastrovino, and in my opinion, this is one of the best day long food and music festivals available in BCS. The restaurants represented by chefs in Los Cabos include Nao, Lumbre, The Cape, Sunset Mona Lisa, Limo and Sage, Nicksan and more. From the Pacific Side, food from Jazzmango, Oystera, Dum, Pizzeria RomAntica, Tre Galline, San Cristobal, Bajavaria is included among many others. La Paz restaurants – Quemadero, Toto Frito, Biznaga, Nemi, and Tiger Club – and several others will be serving samples of their favorite foods.

The doors will open at 4:00 pm on May 3rd and all food, music, art, and entertainment is included in the $85 US fee. Expect the best cocktails, the best wines and the best chefs of Baja serving exquisite tastings! Live bands and DJs will play all day! To get a sense of the nature of the event, I have included photographs that I took from last year’s event.
