Most people think about District MX in Plaza Peninsula just south of the roundabout in San Jose del Cabo as a place for happy hour, dinner or to watch their favorite sports, pay-per-view events or other special events. But on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings District offers a great brunch menu. The menu offers everything from Avocado Toast five or more different kinds of eggs, including their version of Eggs Benedict, French toast, banana pancakes, chilaquiles, a breakfast BLT, enchiladas, and more

The four of us arrived right around noon on a Friday and we were told that we could choose from either the brunch menu or the regular menu. Never having experienced the brunch, we went with it. Tracey chose the Avocado Toast, Beth had the Breakfast BLT (without cheese) with the egg on the side, Chris choose an omelet and I went for it completely and ordered the Huevos Caballos, which came with eggs, potatoes, refried beans, a small steak and tortillas. The Avocado Toast was much more than toast as it also had an egg piled on top of the toast and sliced avocados and pickled onions. The BLT was on two very thick slices of bread and came with French Fries. The food was great. Julia did an excellent job serving us and we all left completely stuffed and happy.
