Plaza Peninsula beside the Honda dealership just south of the roundabout in San Jose del Cabo has three good restaurants – Pan Springs, La Marea and District MX. I met a friend for breakfast at Pan Springs. There is seating outside and inside the restaurant. Inside, there is a choice of tables or large booths along the right wall of the restaurant. The server provided us with the breakfast menu and asked what we would like to drink. Later, she appeared with a tray for fresh pastries to see if you were interested in starting our breakfast with a nice sweet. The menu offers healthy alternatives like juice and shots. Breakfasts range from yoghurt and fruit, oatmeal and avocado toast to French Toast, pancakes and waffles to eggs and Eggs Benedict, omelets and several different breakfast sandwiches.
Hector decided to try the pancakes which were served with strawberries, blueberries and syrup. I asked for Huevos a la Mexican, which came with refried beans, toast and bacon. The food was very good, the service attentive and the restaurant very comfortable.
