We were walking around downtown San Jose del Cabo before our dinner reservation at Come a Casa and decided to stop at Tropicana Inn for a drink. All of us were regular visitors to the old Tropicana Inn before it was completely renovated more than a year ago. There was a large blackboard at the outdoor seating in front of the restaurant at the Tropicana Inn offering two for one on domestic drinks between 4:00 and 5:30 pm. So, we took a table inside near the bar.

The bar in the restaurant has shelves to the ceiling displaying a wide range of spirits available. We asked our server what was included in the 2 x 1 offer and he said Margaritas, Palomas and Mojitos using domestic spirits (e.g., Jose Cuervo tequila). Tracey ordered a margarita but Jerry and Chris decided to go with a Don Julio Blanco with no ice in a martini glass from their special cocktails (not included in the 2 x 1 offer). Beth ordered a limonadaminerale and I asked for a Diet Coke.

We had a nice time talking and drinking our chosen beverage before leaving to walk to the Italian restaurant up the hill for our dinner.
