After going to register my new scooter with our friend (and amazing therapeutic masseuse, Rosy Ortega, we went to the Municipal Market for Breakfast. While I have visited the Municipal Market several times, we have never been to the Food Court that is on the side. Open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday and 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday, there are a number of Loncherias both outside the Food Court in the front courtyard and inside. With eight long picnic tables you can choose the loncheria that offers the breakfast or lunch food in which you are interested.

Rosy knows the place well and took us to Loncheria La Mexicanita. There are some listings of items on posters and banners in front of each of the loncherias but we knew what we wanted for breakfast. Rosy asked for chilaquiles and I ordered Huevos a la Mexicana and a Diet Coke for me and water for Rosy. The cook brought us some tortilla chips and salsa to start and In no time, she brought us out our platters.  Both were large and each was served with refried beans and avocado slices. We were also given a full basket of corn tortillas to go with our meal. The portion sizes and flavors were great and the price even better. The whole breakfast for two with the large bottles of soda and water was $330 pesos.
