We moved into our townhouse in Pueblo Campestre three and a half years ago. Since that time, our living room L-shaped sofa has taken a beating. Between our dog Charlie, eating while watching television and just the oils and dirt on bare legs, it was starting to look worn down. One of our friends told Beth about having a deep clean at the new place that she had just moved into in La Playita and how Alvarado’s Always Clean had removed impossible stains and made the furniture look new.

So, we booked an appointment. A team of two including Alvarado came with a large vacuum/steamer and all of the necessary cleaning materials to make our sofa look new. The team removed all of the cushions and took them out onto our back patio. The started by doing the base of the sofa – scrubbing it with detergent by hand and then using the machine to extract any cleaning fluid and water along with the accumulated dirt. Outside, with each of the cushions, they were sprayed and scrubbed by hand and then the vacuum/steamer was used to extract the built-up dirt, cleaning fluids and water that had been used to clean them. As each cushion was finished, they were stood up on the sofa base to dry. We were told that it would take at least three hours for the cushions to drying after the cleaning process. The team cleaned the floor in the living room and the Cantera tile in the outdoor backyard patio and packed up their equipment.

They then asked if we wanted the carpet cleaned – YES. The took it to their shop to be able to lay it out to clean and returned with it the next day. At that time, the carpet was put in place and the sofa repositioned.

The work was exceptional. The sofa looked brand new. In fact, one of our neighbors came in a few days later and asked if we had purchased a new sofa.
