The golf course in Club Campestre is public. At the clubhouse, there is a small restaurant that offers breakfast and lunch items for both golfers and the community. I recently stopped by for breakfast. There are about a half a dozen tables of different sizes under a palo de arco pergola. The menu offers breakfast – fruit cocktail, eggs, egg muffin, egg burrito – salads, sandwiches and club sandwiches, tacos, quesadillas, hamburgers, hot dogs and more.

As I was there for a late breakfast, I selected the Huevos a la Mexicana, which were served with two salsa and flour tortillas. While most places offer refried beans and other sides, this order only included the eggs mixed with Pico de Gallo. The Eggs Your Way allows you to choose an omelet or scrambled and to add up to four ingredients – Spinach • Onion • Mushrooms • Bacon • Bell Peppers • Avocado • Tomato • Cheese • Ham. • Pork Sausage. They are not inexpensive ($14 US) although members of the golf course get a major discount.
