When Jason Davis came to Los Cabos nine years ago, he wanted good television programming. He met with a few of the satellite providers and he thought the price tag of several thousand dollars was ridiculous. So, he started doing his own research. Five years ago, he launched the only fully legal cable service in Los Cabos – Cabo InterneTV. The company has contracts with some of the biggest content providers in Canada and the United States. His Internet-based service offers over 2,000 channels – US Premium Channels, US Movie Channel, US News Channels, Kids Channels, US Sports, US local channels for each of the network, Canadian Premium Channels, Canadian Sports and News Channels and a full range of sports channels and all of the US Spanish programming.
Cabo InterneTV built its own guide. As a result, there is detail programming information for all of the channels. The guide also allows you to eliminate channels in which you have no interest and prioritize your favorite channels. If your favorite local channel from a national network is not currently available, Cabo InternetV will add it for you.
To set up the system, it can be done directly on any Android based TV (Cabo InterneTV is a licensed Hisense dealer (previously Sharp), so you can even buy your Android TV from them) or with a separate device, like an Amazon Fire Stick. The directions for set up available online from their website or if you are using a separate device, they can program it for you. I was having trouble and so I took my Fire Stick into the store and in ten minutes, my favorite channels were set up, others eliminated and all for $400 pesos (about $20 US). During office hours, you can call and they will help you with whatever you may need over the telephone. The cost of the service is $456 pesos a month. We have now been using our service for two weeks and are extremely happy with the quality and range of programming options. If you want US, Canadian or Spanish US television programming, this is definitely a great option.
Cabo InterneTV’s store has everything that you need to support a Smart Home, beyond just being the provider of programming. For more information on Cabo InterneTV visit their website at https://cabointernetv.com/ or visit them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CaboInterneTV
