Caffe Todos Santos

This unique dining space played the role of Caffe Todos Santos in the morning and Tre Galline in the evenings. When the old of the building decided to put it up for sale, Tre Galline moved onto Benito Juarez beside La Morena. However, the owners, Chef Angelo and his wife Magda decided to keep Caffe Todos Santos open until the building sells. They have also extended the hours to keep it open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with pizza and specials offered at dinner time. Their son, Constantino manages Tre Galline.

As we finally got occupancy of our condo in Todos Santos, we decided to try Caffe Todos Santos for breakfast. Caffe Todos Santos is pet friendly, so we took Charlie, our Lhasa Apso with us for breakfast. There are several different rooms available. At the front on Centenario is the small dining room and pastry bar. In the main dining area, accessed from one street north, there are three different areas in which to sit, all filled with interesting art.

Our server brought us the menu and asked what we would like to drink. Beth who has to have coffee in the morning asked for a big cup. I ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice. A very fussy coffee drinker, Beth said that the coffee was great. After looking over the menu, Beth ordered a well-done omelet. I chose the Breakfast Bagel with eggs, bacon and cheese. The breakfasts came with a big bowl of toast and jam to add to the flavors. Magda stopped by to say hello. We both enjoyed our breakfasts. I had a second orange juice and Beth a second cup of coffee.

We have always enjoyed the restaurant space, but it was different seeing it in the morning. The natural light makes it a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee and breakfast.

We will definitely be back to see what the special offers are at night from Chef Angelo and Magda.
