Traditionally, Labor Day weekend in Canada and the United States is a time for family BBQs. The grills are lit and families join together with their favorite beverages to enjoy everything from hot dogs and hamburgers to steak and ribs. While Labor Day in Mexico is May 1st, expats have an opportunity to continue this tradition by joining Victor Garrido, the chef and owner of Torote Restaurant in Valle del Sol at the back of El Tezal for their special grill dinner starting at 5:30 on Sunday evening. Similar to their other celebrations, the Labor Day Grill has a menu with three courses. Torote also has great mixologists and wine cellar so you can pair your meal with the drink of your choice.
