Just out of town on Highway 19 toward Todos Santos is Doce Cuarenta (12 40). This location is a unique combination of store, coffee shop and a market adjacent in the back with small shops. Doce Cuarenta has locations in La Paz, Cabos San Lucas and Todos Santos. Their website says that their mission is to find and brew the best coffee available. When you walk into the large interior of the location, this is easy to tell by the bags of coffee beans and the roaster in one corner. The cafe has seating inside, on an outside terrace at the back and in a garden off to the side of the cafe. A walk around the cafe shows the coffee makers and pastries on display. The menu includes hot coffee, cold brews, tea and some natural sodas. From the kitchen are a series of sandwiches, some salads and empanadas.
