Chileno Bay has always been known as one of the best snorkeling spots on the corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Daily snorkeling tours are available from the marina in Cabo San Lucas (or you can park by the beach and walk into the water to snorkel). With a rocky reef in the bay, a wide variety of sea life is visible in the crystal-clear waters. However, in the last five years, it has also become a major resort destination.
