If you are looking for information about the people, places, activities, accommodations, and lifestyle in Los Cabos, Mexico, there are a variety of sources (beyond of course, Enjoy Los Cabos Life). Each source has its strengths and weaknesses, but almost any question about the area can now be answered. Here are some of the top sources.
Gringo Gazette. One of the main sources of information in Los Cabos in the Gringo Gazette. We have been picking it up since the 1990s, when we first purchased property here. The Gringo Gazette newspaper is published every two weeks and is distributed free in stands around the area, including San Jose del Cabo, the Tourist Corridor, Cabos San Lucas, Pescadero, Todos Santos, La Paz, and Los Barriles. Each issue contains updates on Que Paa in Cabo?; Real Estate; Medical Tourism; La Paz Pearls; Restaurants That Don’t Break the Bank; Fish Report; Cooking Like a Mexican; Movie; and Ask a Mexican, as well stories about current changes in all of the regions of BCS. Each issue of the Gringo Gazette is also available in a digital edition that is accessible from anywhere in the world to help you plan your stay. However, the Gringo Gazette does not stop with its print and digital editions of the newspaper. There is a lot of information available on its other digital platforms – Facebook, Instagram, and regular emails sent out to people who have subscribed. David Flores, who manages the Gringo Gazette from Cabo San Lucas, also posts regularly on his Facebook page to highlight information on what’s happening on a day-to-day basis. This is one of the most trusted sources of information in the area with up-to-date news twice a month. The website is also searchable by topic or author. So, if you want to see stories by David Flores or John C Anderson, you can find them easily.
