Juan More Taco Food Tours

While we were having lunch at Abby’s Place in San Jose del Cabo, a group of six people were led into the restaurant by a guide and seated. The guide walked around the table and asked each guest what kind of taco they would like to try and what type of tortilla they would like. He then informed the server what each person would like.

I saw on the back of the guide’s shirt the logo for Juan More Taco and asked him to describe the business to us. He said that the company Amazing Tours Cabo offers three hour food tours in both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas at 11:00 am and 5:30 pm each day. The tour focuses on great local restaurants and makes four stops for different types of tacos and a tequila tasting. As he was describing it, one of his guests came over and said how great a job he did. He informed the group about the restaurant, each style of taco that they had chosen and the salsas that were offered. The group finished their tacos and moved off to the next location, Benedicto, the guide had taken care of the check during the time that the group were tasting their tacos. Mariscos El Chino Abby’s Place was their stop for seafood tacos.

I looked up the company on the internet and found that they offer private or shared tours and that the cost is $62.50 per person for the three hour experience – everything included. Benedicto also indicated that they can make arrangements for any type of event for their customers. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the restaurant and the food and paid a lot of attention to his group during the stop. You can contact Benedicto directly at (624) 245 1420.
