La Posada del Pescador Boutique Hotel

John Anderson, Editor
Building off of their fish market and restaurant, Juan and Lupita, the owners decided to open a boutique hotel in their building in Cabo San Lucas just north of downtown. This is a small boutique hotel with three rooms with one bed, two rooms with two beds and a three-bedroom condo. The lobby of the hotel and the rooms are designed and furnished in a traditional Mexican style. All rooms have private bathrooms. The room includes free WiFi, has cable TV and mini-split air conditioning. When you enter the boutique hotel, the desk and lobby are to the left and Los Kurricanes Restaurant is to the right. La Posada Del Pescador is in walking distance to downtown Cabo San Lucas and the marina.
Los Kurricanes, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and an early dinner – featuring fresh fish from their Pescaderia Cabo Mar Gourmet just around the corner. In fact, you can go to the fish market and choose your fresh fish (or bring one that you have caught) and it will be prepared the way you like with a selection of sides. The breakfast menu provides guests with the choice of omelets, chilaquiles, pancakes, French toast and even quesadillas or steak and eggs. So, if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is centrally located with a great restaurant, check out La Posada del Pescador. While we haven’t stayed in the hotel, the food at the restaurant was plentiful and delicious.
