One of the new condominium developments in Club Campestre is Larena. Unlike other developments, it is surrounded by the golf course and has no neighboring condo or housing developments. The overall project offers 13 three story building with two units to a floor. Each unit is four (4) bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths with ultra-high-end finishes. My wife and I recently attended a special game day in the show suite, which is just inside the entrance to the Larena property. This gave us the opportunity to see the layout of a unit, the quality of the finishes and have a sense of what life would be like at Larena.

The interior square footage is just over 2,230 square feet. However, with sliding doors at the front of the living room, the room opens up to a terrace of about 690 square feet. This combination of interior and exterior space gives an incredible layout for the entertaining and enjoying the views of the mountains, sunset or Sea of Cortez (depending on the orientation of the unit). Entering the unit, the first thing that you see (other than the view) is the kitchen completely outfitted with high quality finishes. The appliances are Wolf (cooktop, stove, microwave and outdoor BBQ) and Subzero refrigerator and freezer. There is also a outdoor kitchen on the terrace. The garden level unit have a grass garden area, which includes a plunge pool. The top floor penthouses have vaulted ceilings and a rooftop deck with an outdoor kitchen and plunge pool.

The amenities of Larena also match the quality of the construction and look and feel of the units. There are two common areas – north and south – that each include a pool, fitness center, pickleball and paddle tennis courts and a restaurant. Each unit has two parking spaces – one covered with a storage area and another outdoor. The development has been designed so that the parking area, which is in the middle of the buildings is not visible from the terraces of the units.

The first two buildings will be ready for occupancy in November 2026 and the next in March of 2027. The units with mountain views are priced starting at $1.4 million and with ocean views at $1.8 million.

As we walk our dog along the golf cart paths before the course opens in the morning. we have had the opportunity to watch the first set of buildings being constructed.
