MAINTENANCE ON OUR CONDO IS PUEBLO CAMPESTRE PHASE 2

John Anderson, Editor

One of the things that you learn quickly living in a tropical climate is that ongoing maintenance is part of your life. Luckily Eduard Almazan, his brother Sergio and the team at Home Maintenance and Improvement by Eduardo do a great job with ongoing maintenance. Over the past several months, the team has helped us with quite a few different projects.

  1. Resealing and grouting the Canterra tile on our third floor. We are about to have the remainder of the Cantera in the courtyard and patio done too.
  2. Cleaning and resealing the talavera tile on our stair risers and fountain in our courtyard.
  3. Adding an exhaust fan in our second bathroom to minimize the paint peeling from the heat of the shower.
  4. Repainting the whole bathroom with a better-quality paint – in the spring we will have the whole townhouse repainted inside and out.
  5. Adding a trellis for the bougainvillea vine that we bought to brighten up the front courtyard and placing fishing line across the pergola beams to direct the vine as it grows.
  6. Refinishing the front and back gates to the townhouse as well as the meter boxes at the front door.
  7. Replacing the tile backsplash in our outdoor kitchen.
  8. Cleaning all of the filters in the mini-split air conditioners.

These ongoing maintenance items are in addition to building pergolas for us, updating the air conditioning system for the solar room, and installing hurricane shutters in our courtyard. Eduardo, Sergio and the team have been a tremendous help to us in keeping our townhouse the way that we want it. Thank you.
