For the first time, Michelin just released its guide for Mexico. Michelin had teams descend on Los Cabos earlier this year to visit potential restaurants to be included in their 2024 Guide for Mexico. Michelin award Bib Gourmand status granted by inspectors identifying the restaurant for being the best value for the money. The also identified restaurants to be given a Green Star for their commitment to sustainable gastronomy.

A total of 16 restaurants (5 in San Jose del Cabo, 6 in Cabos San Lucas and 5 in Todos Santos were awarded Bib Gourmand status. In San Jose del Cabo, this included Ruba’s Bakery, Lumbre, Nao, Omakai, and CarbónCabrón. Acre and Flora Farms Field Kitchen were given Green Stars. On the corridor and in Cabo San Lucas, the restaurants included Los Tres Gallos, Manta, Metate, Comal, Cocina de Autor Los Cabos, and Arbol. On the Pacific Side, the Bib Gourmand recommendations went to Oystera, Dum, Tenoch, Benno and Cocina de Campo by Agricole, which also received a Green Star. Cocina de Autor Los Cabos is the one restaurant that received on Michelin Star and its chef, Sidney Schutte received his second Michelin Star.
