When I asked Ezra Katz his favorite Italian restaurants in Todos Santos, he named three – Il Giardino, Tre Galline and Pizzeria Romantica. Located on the corner of Calle Colegio Militar and Zaragoza near the main park in Todos Santos, Pizzeria Romantica offers a full menu of Italian dishes, not just pizza. The menu offers antipasti including bruschetta, salads, carpaccio and more. The pasta list is a full page of the menu and includes several homemade pastas like fettuccine, gnocchi and lasagna. There are also second courses made with eggplant, fresh fish, lobster, beef, steak and lamb. There are 15 different pizzas from which to select.

The restaurant is a small outdoor rustic courtyard with trees. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and some water while I looked at the menu. I selected the bruschetta as a starter, followed by lasagna and then the tiramisu for dessert. The bruschetta was three large slices of garlic toast covered with small, chopped cherry tomatoes. The toast was great as was the olive oil. The lasagna was a large oblong bowl with several layers of pasta, beef and lots of cheese. It was enough so that I took half back to the condo for another meal along with some of the bruschetta. The tiramisu was a great way to end the meal.

The restaurant was quite busy and 8:30 at night and is open until 10:00 pm. The service was fast, friendly and attentive, the atmosphere very pleasant and the food good.
