A truck backed into my Ford Bronco Sport in a tight parking lot and caused a small dent in the area above my bumper. Without anyone to give me recommendations on where to go, I did a Google search of body shops in San Jose del Cabo. I then drove around and looked at several of the top-rated shops to look at their operations. Several did not look like places that I would want to leave my car. I stopped at Renovo on Calle Ave La Paz just up from the fabric store and furniture store on the main highway to the airport. The Google search showed that they had been in business for more than seven years and have a rating of 5/5 with 11 reviews.
The shop was quite large with a locked gate in front. I met the owner, Jaziel Torres, who gave me a reasonable estimate to repair the cut in the fiberglass above the bumper and said that the work would take two days. I asked when I could drop it off and he said Monday. Monday was the Festival of Independence and so I was worried that the shop would be closed. Jaziel was there waiting for me and another customer. We exchanged WhatsApp numbers and he said that he would call when my car was ready.
On Wednesday morning, he called and said that my car was ready to pick up. It looked like new. I was very pleased with the work and now have someplace in San Jose del Cabo to go.
