Located in the plaza just south of the arroyo in Costa Azul beside the Surf Shop is Tadd Chapman’s Retro Burger Bar. With an indoor bar and outdoor seating, one of the walls in the main dining area is a large mural of PacMan – taking us back. The two-page menu offers snacks, wings, salads, tacos, a large selection of burgers and chef’s specials.

Beth chose the Asian Salad and added grilled chicken to the salad bowl. She said she had a craving for it and Asian salads aren’t available in many places in Los Cabos. I decided on the Muu-Cho Mushroom Burger. It was a large burger piled high with grilled mushrooms and onions is a great sauce. It normal comes with cheese but I asked for it “sin queso.” The 200-gram burger was delicious and came with large wedge French fries.

It was nice to have a quiet night out for dinner, some comfort food with good service not far from home. All we had to do was go back into the arroyo to return the other way to Club Campestre.
