We just returned from Todos Santos after exploring the Christmas Bazaar at Oystera in Santa Terra in Los Cabos. It is being held in the walkway in front of Oystera on Saturday and Sunday, December 16th and 17th from 11:00 to 5:00 pm. Todos Santos is known for its artisans. If you are interested in finding some original, handmade Christmas gifts, you may want to make your way to Oystera on Sunday. The walkway in front of Oystera is crowded with 21 artisans selling their jewelry, clothing, hats, ceramics, paintings, mezcal, desserts and heath products. A DJ was set up in front playing music to enhance the shopping experience. The photos below show each of the tables with the products displayed and the name of their creators.
But today, the Christmas spirit didn’t stop there as Oystera hosted a wine and cheese event for charity in the garden restaurant. With a $500 pesos VOLUNTARY donation, you could enjoy an incredible range of breads, cheeses, meats, vegetables and sauces. Along with the great food and wine was live music from a guitarist and a saxophone player adding to the overall atmosphere. This is just one of the ways that Santa Terra continues to support the local community.
While we’re at Oystera after looking at all of the great local crafts and before the Wine and Cheese event started, we walked around inside Oystera and check out the galleries and clothing store. Then, Beth and I shared some popcorn shrimp and had a quick beverage.
