We are excitedly awaiting the completion of our condos in Todos Santos. These industrial style one bedroom and one bathroom condos are just on the east side of downtown near Docecuarenta. A new complex of 20 units in a gated compound designed by Humberto Avilez, architect and built by his brother Hector Avilez, they were the best deal ever in Todos Santos. Our love of the live music and restaurants in Todos Santos made this a perfect purchase for us. The deal was so good that we ended up buying two – one above the other.

The complex has three buildings – A, B, and C. Currently, buildings A and B are finished and in the closing process. They have finished the parking lot in front of these two buildings and put up a fabric fence to protect it from the construction still going on in building C. Our units are C101 and C201, the end unit in the photos below. We hope that the whole complex including the laundry room, pergola sitting area and the exterior wall and gate will be completed by the end of the year.

Hector Avilez has been extremely helpful in the construction process in keeping us updated and making some upgrades for us – like windows in the exterior area, peninsulas in the kitchens and additional electrical for our fans and televisions. We are upgrading the units even more with the help of Carlos Ochoa at Carmat Carpinteria. Carlos will be building queen size Rosa Morada beds, bedroom closets, drawers and cabinet doors in the kitchen and linen closet and parota bar stools for the kitchen peninsulas.
