Poke Loko (3.23) and Pizzeria El Potrero (3.26) – The incredible combination of musical talent that exists in Pescadero and Todos Santos is amazing. One such grouping is Terra Nova with Richard Hastings on guitar and vocals, David Raitt on guitar, percussion, flute, harmonica and vocals and Tony Askins on fiddle and vocals. With amazing musical talent and two and three part harmonies, this group plays rock, folk, country, blues and even a little latin and jazz.

Richard Hastings has a bachelors and Masters from the guitar studio at USC and is truly a master of all styles of guitar music – having started playing classical guitar at 8 years of age.

David Raitt (who has the Baja Boogie Band), Bonnie Raitt’s brother is another incredible music talent playing his own original tunes flavored by blues and boogie and adept at almost every instrument that you can image.

Tony Askins fills out the sound with his amazing fiddle work. They are all great vocalists and bring their own style to amost every song that they perform.

Here is a great example with Terra Nova playing Simon and Garfunkel’s, “Love Me Like a Rock” recently at Pizzeria El Potrero in Pescadero.
