One of the reasons that Todos Santos is a Pueblo Magico is because it is a true colony of artists and artisans. In addition to the permanent art galleries in Todos Santos, the Baja 100 often stages special exhibitions in the town square by the church behind the Hotel California. One of the most important weekends for artists in Todos Santos is the Open Studio Tour. The artists open their studios to meet the public and give a more intimate view of their creative process. The Todos Santos Open Studio Tour begins on Friday night with a special event to meet the artists at Galeria Enrique Guerrero between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday give the public the chance to visit many of the over 50 participating and 24 Featured Artists on the tour at their studios. Ticket sales from The Todos Santos Open Studio Tour benefit The Palapa Society, which exists to make a positive difference in people’s lives through inspirational quality education and timely support through community service and programs – empowering English Language education, The Cornerstone Bilingual Community Library and enhancing Middle School and High School Education.

The diversity of artists and their art that will be on display and for sale during the Open Studio Tour is amazing. The styles range from landscapes to portraits, to impressionist to plein air to clay and ceramic art. With your daily or weekend ticket, a map will lead you to the private studios of all of the participating artists.
