One the the challenges in our move from our home in Zacatitos to the condo in El Conquistador was how to get the television channels from Canada and the United States that we wanted. It seemed that the only option was Internet TV. We went to Cabo Fire TV and purchased a Firestick that provided access to thousands of channels from the United States, Canada and the UK as well as access to first run movies. The choices were incredible. Unfortunately, the stability of signal is a major issue. The shows are constantly buffering and then backing up and playing the last 20 to 30 seconds over again. This was driving my wife crazy.

We really didn’t think that we had a satellite option because we are on the first floor and can’t mount a dish higher on the building. I should have known that LaMoyne from Los Cabos Satellite Services would find a way – he provided us support for our satellite television in Zacatitos. He agreed to come right over and see if we had a way to get Shaw once again. He and Miguel came and tested signal and found that they could put a dish on the ground and get strong signal. Also, he said that he had a special metal stand so that he would not have to mount the dish anywhere and it could just be taken when we move to our new townhouse when it is ready. He also said that he could lease us the box so that we wouldn’t have to set up our own account at this temporary location
