7 Seas Seafood Grille on the Corridor

John Anderson, Editor

Located in the Cabo Surf Hotel on the beach across from the entrance to Querencia, 7 Seas Seafood Grille provides a great atmosphere to dine and watch the waves come softly onto the shore. This is a restaurant that we have always wanted to visit. Recently, Beth and our friend Tanya went there for lunch. As the name suggests the menu at seven seas has a lot of seafood dishes as appetizers, salads and main courses. The website describes the cuisine as “Eclectic Seafood with Mexican Influences.” However, the menu is not limited to seafood. For the meat lover, there is chicken, pork ribs, hamburgers, steaks and surf and turf selections for both lunch and dinner.

The ladies started their lunch with guacamole. Tanya loves tuna tartar and so the Tuna Tartar Trilogy was a perfect choice for her. Each of the towers of tuna tartar is served with a different set of spices and sauces including cucumber, cilantro, avocado, capers, serrano chili, sesame seeds and mango. It looked absolutely delicious, and Tanya said that it was. Beth ordered the Baja Fish Tacos from the Taco Bar, which also had rib eye, octopus, quinoa, shrimp, and combinations from which to choose. There were three tacos in the order. They were so filling that Beth brought me one home to try. Excellent!

But it was the atmosphere and view that Beth raved about the most. She said that she felt like she was back in Maui watching the surfers and enjoying the ocean. We look forward to going back soon for dinner.
