Given the wear and tear on fabrics in Los Cabos, it is vital that all outdoor furniture has very good weather resistant outdoor fabric. Whether Sunbrella or another highly-rated outdoor fabric, it is essential to deal with the sun and rain in the area. Abigail Casarrubius has helped us several times both in Zacatitos and Pueblo Campestre with re-upholstering furniture or creating new cushions for benches. Beth asked her to visit to discuss redoing the upholstery on our outdoor L-shaped sofa in the patio. Abigail brought fabric books from which to choose the fabric. Together, they decided to replace the two seat cushions on each side of the L with a single cushion. Abigail had already provided an estimate when when she did the cushions for the outdoor furniture on the second floor – having measured all of the cushions on the L-shaped sofa at that time.

So, with help she took all of the cushions, along with the drawings of the change in the layout of the cushions and the selected fabric (Dupione Sand). She ordered the fabric and gave us an estimate of how long it would take to complete the project. She finished the re-upholstery right on time and delivered it back to our townhouse. Both Beth and Abigail removed the plastic covering from the cushions and put them in place. The sofa looked like brand new and was even more comfortable with only one cushion on each side of the center piece on the corner.
