We had recently visited Cabo Grill Shop in El Tezal across from Plaza Novvo for dinner. The menu was so interesting for breakfast that I stopped back in to have breakfast. I was greeted by Miguel and Barbara, the owners who we had met at dinner. Barbara was joined by their young English Sheep Dog, Chester. The restaurant is very large with both indoor and outdoor seating. Because it was created for families, there is a large play area for children including trampoline, small climbing wall, swings and slides.

The breakfast menu is quite extensive with selections of healthy items – fruits, granola and salad – many egg dishes – chilaquiles, eggs in many styles, eggs Benedict, some special egg grills – breakfast sandwiches, waffles, pancakes and French toast. I decided to try the Cabo Grill Eggs. This is fluffy scrambled eggs with grilled vegetables including carrots, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, zucchini and more along with salad and sourdough bread. It was delicious and a great portion size.
