Christmas Lunch At 7 Seas Seafood Grill

John Anderson, Editor

We had a visit on Christmas Day from Beth’s cousins from Long Island New York, who arrived on a cruise ship for a brief stop in Cabo San Lucas. After picking them up at the cruise dock at the marina, we drove back to show them our new townhouse, did and quick tour of downtown San Jose del Cabo and went to the 7 Seas Seafood Grill for Lunch. Set on the beach across from Querencia at the Cabo Surf Hotel, the restaurant is comfortable and has a great view of the beach and the surfers. The hotel was setting up for a big dinner on the beach for Christmas Day.

The menu offers a great range of seafood with a Mexican touch. We started with the guacamole for the table, which was a great combination of avocado, tomato, serrano peppers and onions with tortilla chips. I decided on the trio of tuna tartars for lunch. Each of the three different combinations of tuna, fruits, cucumber, avocado and sauces. They were delicious. Beth, Lois and Chuck each selected different taco combination. Chuck chose the special Taco Fest with four different tacos – rib eye, grilled shrimp, tempura fish, and marinated octopus. Beth and Lois selected their own combination of three tacos including Baja Fish, shrimp, and chicken. It was a nice lunch in a great atmosphere with the opportunity to catch up with family on Christmas Day.
