Located on the corner between Hotel Me Cabo and Hotel Casa Dorada in the Medano area of Cabo San Lucas is a small cafe – El Jarro Cafe and Grill. This rustic restaurant includes a bar at the front on the right and a small interior dining room with simple wooden tables and chairs. This Mexican restaurant offers both breakfast and lunch (open from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm). For breakfast, diners have a choice of traditional Mexican fare – chilaquiles, burritos, Huevos Rancheros or Divorcada, Mexican Omelets, or more American-style breakfasts – omelets, pancakes, French toast, egg and cheese sandwich, crepes or fruit salad. For lunch, all of the standard Mexican dishes are available – tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, combos and vegetarian options. Beverages focus on a full range of coffees, smoothies, fruit juices and even milkshakes.

I had searched for the best places to have breakfast in Cabo San Lucas and El Jarro Cafe and Grill was one of the top listings. I decided to order the Huevos a la Mexican. The large platter of scrambled eggs with Pico de Gallo mixed in and an avocado on top was served with refried beans and corn tortillas (to make your breakfast taco). The flavors were great and the price even better. My whole meal including a large bottle of Diet Coke was $155 pesos! The service was friendly, attentive and fast.
