Tucked away in the small plaza across from Barcelo along with Le Bar, Corleone Pizzeria and Friendly’s Ice Cream is JJ Burgers & Salads. This small family run restaurant offers a full range of beef, chicken, tuna, shrimp and vegetarian burgers as well as quesadillas, skewers, salads, sandwiches, sashimi and more. If you are just interested in snacks, JJ Burgers has wings, nachos, chips and guacamole or great French fries.

Beth and I stopped in for a quick lunch. She ordered the beef burger, which came with French fries and lettuce, tomatoes and onions. It also normally includes bacon and cheese, which she did not have. I ordered a vegetarian club sandwich. You normally have the choice of chicken, ham or beef with this sandwich as well. It too came with crispy French fries. The food was very good and the service was friendly by the daughter of the owner. If you’re looking for a place to stop for lunch or dinner, this is a good choice.
