We had learned that we couldn’t survive in Los Cabos without SiriusXM radio in our cars and in the house. The alternatives were a combination of mariachi music and talk shows – with lots of politics.

The History of Our Station
In 2007, Sammy Hagar, The Red Rocker himself called on the Founder to build him a radio station for his world-famous cantina at Lands End. So, the next thing you know he and his wife packed up their Land Rover and moved to Cabo. A few months later Cabo Wabo Radio began broadcasting live from a custom-built studio our founder helped design inside the cantina. The following year he turned over the reins to the Cantina and the rest is history!
