The next town north of the airport in San Jose del Cabo is Santa Anita. This is point of access to visit the mountains. On the south side of this town is a palapa restaurant named Mariscos El Jovenaza. We went with Robert and Sharon and met our friends Britta and Brett Stocker (of sandcastle building fame) there for breakfast. The breakfast menu includes eggs, omelets, chilaquiles and some regular Mexican food items. Of course, there is also fresh squeezed orange juice.
Beth and Sharon ordered omelets with bacon (Beth’s without cheese, Sharon’s with cheese). Robert ordered an omelet with ham. I had Huevos a la Mexicana; Britta Huevos con machaca and Brett ordered the Chilaquiles with fried eggs. All of the breakfasts came with sliced avocado and refried beans. It was a great morning of catching up, enjoying our food with good service at a local prices.
The lunch and dinner menu offers a wide range of seafood, traditional Mexican dishes and even spaghetti
